Job Description

As an Electrician you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a team setting. In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate.DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
  • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, and load reactors
  • Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic, electrical control systems
  • May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience
  • You have Red Seal Millwright certification
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • Excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Hourly rate - $42.00/hourAfternoon Shift Premium - Additional $2.00/hourNight Shift Premium - Additional $6.00/hour
