You are a business partner to each owner and management group you provide services to, and are able to learn each clients financial position inside out. Your division works within the cloud to provide clients with accurate live data so that they can make decisions in a timely manner.Some more of your responsibilities include:

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping for your various clients across several unique industries
  • Reconciliation of bank balances and credit card transactions, processing of sales and purchasing invoices, overseeing payroll processes, recording/adjusting entries on a regular basis, and utilizing cloud-based software and apps
  • GST/HST filings and month end/quarterly reviews
  • Ongoing communication with your clients and their representatives throughout the year, utilizing various communication tools

  • Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in accounting/business, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years experience with exposure to a variety of industries, multi-client environment would be an asset
  • Eager to work within a team and able to work independently with little supervision, but willing to ask questions when needed
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to balance multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to maintain strong client relationships
  • Able to use previous experience and technical knowledge to benefit yourself and the client
  • 2 years working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Experience with Cloud accounting and payroll applications/integrations
