Job Description

Job Title: Flooring Sales AssociateJob Summary: We are seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced Flooring Sales Associate to join our team. As a Flooring Sales Associate, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, generating leads, and driving sales for high-quality flooring products. You will provide exceptional customer service and expertise in all areas of flooring sales, including product knowledge, design, and installation.Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and other industry professionals to generate leads and increase sales.
  • Welcome clients to our showroom and assist them in selecting the best flooring products to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and installation requirements.
  • Provide clients with design and color coordination advice to ensure their new flooring complements their existing decor.
  • Work with our existing teams who will measure the projects you will bring in and will provide quotes for materials and installation services.
  • Follow up with clients after the sale to ensure their new flooring has been installed to their satisfaction.
  • Project Management - collaborate with our installation team to ensure timely and high-quality installation services. This will keep you connected with key individuals in the construction industry, which will build trust and could lead to more future sales.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new product releases to maintain your expertise in flooring sales.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.
  • Strong connections and previous experience in the construction industry are highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales tracking software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Salary:
  • Commission-based salary with potential for high earnings based on sales performance.
