Job Description

FRAMER (WOOD FRAMING or STEEL STUD)We are hiring multiple Framers to install our pre-fabricated Light Gauge Steel panels at project sites across the Lower Mainland, from New Westminster, Surrey, Abbotsford, Chilliwack etc.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install prefabricated light gauge steel wall panels, joists, and other parts, using power tools on job sites.
  • Framing steel panels to build out exterior and interior building structures from walls, floors, ceilings, stairs etc.
  • Build and install cassettes on job sites
  • Assist with unloading and setting up materials on site.
  • Use measuring tapes to verify measurements as required.
  • Make safety a priority for yourself and the team.
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities common on a job site.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in construction industry, preferably in wood framing, drywall or steel stud.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue- print drawings an asset.
  • General familiarity and understanding of the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Valid certification in WHMIS, Fall Protection is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (requires standing, bending for prolong periods, and lifting 50lbs or more)
  • Personally, you are detailed, accurate, organized and disciplined in your approach and delivery and willing to assist as required.
