Drilling Industry Leader - General ManagerDo you have a passion for the drilling industry and a proven track record of success Are you a results-oriented leader with a strong technical background If so, we have the opportunity for you!About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our day-to-day operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a leading drilling services company, ensuring efficient and profitable operations, and driving sustainable growth.General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Oversee all field operations, ensuring efficient project execution, adherence to safety protocols, and client satisfaction.
  • Actively develop new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and expand market presence.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to make informed decisions and provide guidance to the team.
  • Lead human resource functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Work closely with finance to develop and manage budgets, monitor performance, and ensure profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency and data management.
General Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the drilling industry, with a strong focus on geotechnical and environmental drilling.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing successful drilling operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of business development principles and HR functions.
  • Commitment to safety and a strong safety culture.
