Job Summaryamp; ResponsibilitiesOur program at North Poplar Campus of the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts is based on an integrated arts philosophy. Students will experience a fusion of the core curriculum: Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Math, and the four arts: music, drama, dance, and visual arts.Arts Integration deepens understanding and enhances achievement. Teachers work collaboratively in pods to provide a seamless program of learning and instruction to a diverse student population. Teachers participate in school wide productions, art show and sale, and POD presentations.The part-time position partners with the Vice-Principal, the work schedule is to be determined.Educationamp; ExperienceElementary teacher training with major practicum at the Primary level Degree in Fine Arts, or related field, with a major/minor in visual or performing arts Successful teaching experience at the Primary level Experience teaching visual or performing arts at the Primary levelEligible for B.C.
