Ref ID: 05150-0012391809Classification: Intermediate AccountantCompensation: DOEAs an Intermediate Accountant you are intelligent, bright, curious, hardworking, a quick learner and service oriented. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:• Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts and performing Journal Entries for Month End Close and associated accruals, i.e., Prepaids, Foreign Exchange Revaluation, and Amortization• Generating Divisional Overhead Statements for Department Managers and Senior Management• Managing Inventory Control for Raw Material, Work in Process and Finished Goods• Form relationships with the General Contractors to ensure timely payments of monthly progress billings• Own the Project-Based USamp; Canadian A/R processes - including billings, collections,amp; discrepancy resolution• Generateamp; run aged receivable report for management review• Contribute to the weekly cash flow forecast• Processing and controlling Employee Time Sheets for Canadian and US Entity• Reviewing Bank Accounts Daily and processing associated entries into ERP• Maintaining and reviewing ERP workflows• Analyzing and reconciling various General Ledger and Vendor accounts• Assisting in administration of ERP and related system enhancements• Assisting in implementation of Product Costing and Production Analysis for manufactured products• Preparing ad-hoc analytical reports, as required• Providing General Finance and Administration support/back up• Providing vacation coverage including payroll, accounts payable and project costing, working closely with the other members of the team.Job Requirements:Education:• Degree in Business/Accounting – Finance Major• Excellent knowledge and capability in MS Office Products with advanced level in ExcelExperience Desired:• 3 to 5 years’ accounts receivable, payroll processing and general accounting operational experience in a company with US and international operations• 2 to 3 years’ experience in Inventory analysis and Control• Advanced Level of Excel Use and other MS Office Products• Experience with Explorer Contract Manager ERP Software• Experience in Manufacturing and Construction Project Costing and ControlPersonal Attributes Required:• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attitude and ability to pursue successful resolution to issues.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.• A demonstrated ability to scope, schedule and monitor individual deliverables within a team environment, with an awareness of the “big picture”.• A high personal commitment to deadlines, quality, and accuracy of work.• A self-starter, flexible, with the ability to handle various tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.• Ability to handle change and development of processes and controls in a rapidly growing, dynamic company environment.• Ability to think clearly in stressful situations and act with composure, tact, and discretion.• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across disciplines.• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with mutual respect, courtesy, and support.• A penchant for detail and an eye for economy.If you are looking for growth and this sounds like the position for you, please apply today!Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
