Job Description

Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HRamp; Recruitment function.Position: Materials Manager - Aerospace Industry.Location: Abbotsford, BC.Salary: $65,000 - $95,000 per year (depending on experienceamp; qualifications).Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial / Material Management / Aerospace.Employment Term: Fulltime / Permanent.Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the ongoing effectiveness, efficiency, and economy of assigned materials through a coordinated effort from all departments.
  • Support continuing maintenance requirements for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for materiel support activities that span life cycle stage
  • Participate in the administrative activities of the department, including following and working to develop new administrative practices and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • A secondary school degree or diploma in a related field.
  • 2-5+ years relevant experience in highly integrated aircraft mechanical systems
  • Proven skills in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, mathematical, and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable to changing work demands and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
