Job Description

Position: Production PlannerLocation: Abbotsford, BCSalary: $60,000 - $78,000 YearlyIndustry: Aerospace / Production Planning / MaintenanceEmployment Term: Full Time / Permanent Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain production schedules
  • Analyze and evaluate production orders, customer requirements, and inventory levels to create achievable production plans
  • Monitor and update production schedules, taking into account changes in demand, resource availability, etc.
  • Facilitate and schedule meetings to discuss production schedules and any budget risks
  • Proactively implement solutions to optimize production efficiency
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all components meet the required standards
  • Generate regular reports on performance, production-output, and resource utilization
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Degree or Post Secondary Education in Business, Operations Management, or Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance (Approved by TCA)
  • 3+ years experience as a Production Planner in the aerospace or manufacturing industry, preferably in heavy maintenance on transport category aircraft
  • Knowledge of production planning principles, scheduling techniques, and supply chain management
  • Proficient in using MS applications such as MS Project, Excel, and other database programs
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in planning activities
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
