Job Description

Position: Quality Assurance SupervisorLocation: Abbotsford, BCSalary: $68,000 - $85,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)Industry: Manufacturing / Quality / Aerospace / AME -M2Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all Canadian Aviation Regulations that are required and follow the guidelines when auditing the facility.
  • Conduct daily walk around of the facility to ensure all issues are addressed
  • Develop and maintain audit checklists and keep proper documentation
  • Ensure all workplace conduct is in compliance with company’s HR policies and guidelines
  • Provide support with QMS related activities
  • Liaise with all customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Post Secondary education in Aircraft Maintenance/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10 – 15 years as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer; or foreign or military equivalent
  • AME “M2” License or approved equivalent
  • 2 – 5 years of experience conducting audits of maintenance and manufacturing.
  • Completion of ISO9001/AS9110 and or AS9100 training is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance and Manufacturing Regulations and Standards established by Transport Canada and the Department of National Defense.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills required.
