  • Lead QA processes across multiple functions including Product Development, Supply Chain, Marketing and Manufacturing.
  • Monitor and update quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Review and keep current the documentation necessary for internal, external and regulatory submissions and inspections.
  • Verify that raw materials, purchased parts or components, in-process samples, and finished products meet established testing and inspection standards.
  • Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions, lead and participate in kaizen activities related to QA.
Requirements
  • Excellent problem solving, judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge / understanding of quality control analysis and application of manufacturing (control, methods, automation) processes.
  • Technical writing of manufacturing documents (PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plan, Work Instructions, and Checklists).
  • Strong knowledge / understanding of small engine components (mechanical and electrical).
  • Relevant software experience (e.g. MS Office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment
