Job Description

Overview: As the Caramp; Truck Rental Location Supervisor at our Abbotsford branch, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless operation of both the front rental office and the back vehicle lot. You will lead a team of rental agents responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient rental process for our diverse fleet of vehicles. Additionally, you will supervise the vehicle cleaning team, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our rental fleet; you will be the quality control person. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure the overall success of the location.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front rental office and back vehicle lot.
  • Supervise rental agents, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.
  • Manage the vehicle cleaning team, ensuring cleanliness standards are met and maintained for all rental vehicles.
  • Act as the Saturday supervisor, overseeing operations and addressing any customer or operational issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the control room to coordinate the movement of all needed vehicles.
  • Work closely with the fleet department to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of rental vehicles.
  • Coordinate with the reservation centre to manage bookings and ensure accurate availability of rental vehicles.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of rental vehicles to meet customer demand.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the rental fleet and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data related to rental activity, fleet utilization, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the automotive or rental industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and rental management software.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and rental operations is an asset.
  • Availability to work Saturdays as required.
  • Valid driver #39;s license with a clean driving record.
