Job Description

About the CompanyBE Power Equipment is a leading manufacturer of pressure washers, air compressors, generators and water pumps, serving industrial markets in over 30 countries. Headquartered in Abbotsford, BC, our third generation, family-owned business is focused on designing quality products and delivering exceptional service. We are currently looking to expand our Technical Service team at our head office in Abbotsford, BC. This is an awesome opportunity for someone who possesses a strong technical aptitude, has exceptional communication skills, is peopleamp; customer focused, and knows how to organizeamp; prioritize work. The successful candidate will be capable of leading training events and seminars throughout Canada and the USA as needed. The role carries a high volume of calls and emails and will require having the ability to troubleshoot and guide others through fixing and repairing equipment over the phone and through email communication.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Process warranty claims and inquiries.
  • Work with the service center network providing technical assistance and training.
  • Trouble-shoot equipment over the phone and email.
  • Provide end user support.
  • Create service bulletins and training packages.
  • Lead service events and training seminars.
  • Qualify and set up new service centers.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
RequirementsWHAT YOU HAVEamp; WHO YOU ARE:
  • You have a strong technical aptitudeamp; you are mechanically inclined.
  • You are experienced when it comes to working with small engines or power equipment.
  • You are focused on providing top-notch customer service and you are an exceptional communicator.
  • You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You are able to prioritize your workload and keep yourself organized.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy handling large volumes of inquiries.
  • You are an engaging facilitator who isn #39;t afraid to lead workshops.
  • You love teaching and educating others!
  • You are able to travel to attend customer training sessions as required.
  • You are legally able to work in Canada.
