Job Description

Equivalent ExperienceAerotek is currently hiring 5 Shop Helpers for a client located in Abbotsford, BC.Company manufactures Industrial and Electrical enclosures in various industries***Great opportunity for someone looking to get into trades***Job Duties:

  • Candidates will be assisting the Electricians and Welders with their trade in building enclosures.
  • Assembly of door closures, drain systems using air tools, wrenches, and sockets
  • Cutting and installing insulation
  • Working with steel, tubing, and flat bar
  • Can operate Sit Down Forklift occasionally if ticketed
Requirements may include:
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Shop experience
  • Able to use tape measure and lift up to 50lbs
Location
  • Abbotsford, BC Canada
Wage : $22 - $27/hr.Shifts:
  • Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 6am - 3:30pm, Friday 6am-2pm, (every other Friday off)
  • Afternoon Shift - Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 1:30 am.
  • Weekend Shift - Fri/Sat/Sun 3 - 12-hour shifts. – 6am – 6pm
  • $1 premium for afternoons
