Our client, a manufacturer and distributor is currently searching for a Warehouse Manager to report directly to the Chief Operations OfficerRESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, shipping and receiving areaEnsure customer needs are met through the timely and efficient movement of products and materials in a high volume, fast paced distribution environmentAdhere to all health and safety practices/procedures and GMPsOversee the loading and unloading of all inventory and product for locationEstablish and maintain budget controlDevelopment of team and continuous improvementMaintain solid relationship with 3rd party suppliersEnsure all stock issues are resolvedManage stock destruction and aged stock removal processReview and resolve operational problems to minimize cost and prevent operational delaysNegotiate trucking contractsCommunicate with manufacturing personnel to ensure appropriate materials are available to meet production requirementsDevelop and implement policies, procedures and SOPs to ensure consistent quality and operating efficiencyQUALIFICATIONS: Proficient at Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Warehouse or Materials Management Certificate5+ years warehouse experience in a manufacturing settingSolid leadership and management skillsProficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Power PointStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsAPICS designation an assetJob Type: PermanentSchedule:
