  • Find the optimal solution for a specific need
  • Write estimates
  • Lead meetings for the realization of a project
  • Present the selected solution, bids and project schedule
  • Manage and follow up on all projects
  • Search for and coordinate subcontractors according to the specifications and health and safety rules
  • Carry out or have carried out the mechanical design of projects
  • Produce or have produced the necessary technical drawings for projects
  • Collaborate with and support the maintenance team in the design and implementation of projects
  • Promote and manage health and safety
  • Carry out all other related tasks

The ideal candidate
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field
  • Experience in a similar position, an asset
  • Knowledge of computer-assisted design
  • Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, electricity and hydraulics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent knowledge of French, functional English
  • Leadership, autonomy, organizational skills
