Job Description

At Work Truck West, you’ll be able to pursue your passion through your work while interacting with like-minded individuals in a rewarding environment.We are looking for an experienced hard-working, collaborative, and positive team player to lead our Service Team of Work Truck Equipment Mechanics in our facility in Langley, BC.As a key member of our service team, you would be responsible for servicing repairs and the installation of:

  • Cranes
  • Service truck bodies
  • Dump boxes
  • Flat decks
  • Hydraulic components such as cranes, snow plows/ spreaders, hoists, accessories, and associated equipment on medium-duty truck chassis.
Also performing:
  • Diagnostics and technical troubleshooting.
  • Commercial vehicle inspections.
  • Providing quality feedback to the Product Support Manager to improve customer satisfaction.
This position may be a great fit for you if you have:
  • Automotive or heavy-duty mechanics red seal an asset.
  • Experience in any of these fields: welding, automotive or RV repair, heavy-duty repair, or millwright/ maintenance.
  • Your own set of mechanics tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and hardworking attitude.
  • A valid BC driver #39;s license.
This position is full-time and permanent and starts ASAP.Work hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with the opportunity for overtime.Salary: $30.00-$46.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) A comprehensive benefits package offered after the probationary period includes:
