Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITYThomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team in Langley, BC. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and showcasing our innovative solutions to various industries.YOUR MISSIONMajor Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Thomson Power Systems website to ensure it remains current and engaging for visitors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to keep specifications, product documentation, and operational manuals up to date.
  • Coordinate trade shows and industry events to enhance our brand presence and generate leads.
  • Develop product brochures tailored for specific markets such as Data Centers, Waste Water Treatment, Backup Power (Mission Critical), and Healthcare.
  • Create compelling marketing communications and campaigns for representatives, customers, consultant engineers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist with managing the marketing budget efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Stay informed about key market trends and prepare debriefings for the Sales team to help them better understand customer needs.
  • Coordinate annual VOC surveys and activities to gather valuable feedback from customers.
  • Provide feedback and industry information to support the development of new products.
  • Collaborate with Regal Rexnord corporate marketing and internal teams such as sales, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment on messaging and brand standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
ARE YOU THE ONERequired Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, design software, and website management tools with a strong interest in technology and its applications in business, particularly AI.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and managing events such as trade shows and industry conferences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including budget management and cross-functional team coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.
