Job Description

  • Xpert dispatch/Samsara to monitor the location of the drivers;
  • Communicating with brokers, carriers, and customers;
  • Directing and organizing logistics activities that may include obtaining shipping rates or negotiating with service providers;
  • Ensuring carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Oversee and control cargo loading and securement;
  • Transportation industry experience required;
  • Monitor and track Truck performance and Key performance indicators KPI (gross, the rate per mile, etc);
  • Lead the negotiation of tariffs and rates with the brokers or customers to obtain competitive rates;
  • Resolve freight-related problems both internal and external with brokers/shippers to increase customer satisfaction;
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $45,000.00-$65,816.73 per yearSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Morning shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • ALDERGROVE, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
