Weve expanded our fleet exponentially, therefore we on the lookout for a Operations Coordinator in our Langley branch.Our Yard Operations Coordinator will be responsible for all yard, equipment set up and driver supervisory related operations within Chohan. This role will supervise all yard inbound/outbound interactions, provide streamlined driver onboarding, training, and coaching to provide consultation management of new drivers and new business to Chohan.The Yard Operations Coordinator will see that each newly hired driver or Owner Operator will transition from in-office orientation to the assigned truck or trailer seamlessly. The driver will receive their assigned truck, trailer, gear in 100% condition, reassuring the driver and Chohan Management Team that we have created the best onboarding experience possible.The Yard Operations Coordinator will be a contributing partner in the leadership and development of Chohan’s culture which enables employees to perform in accordance with a firm’s strategic growth objectives.At Chohan, the Yard Operations Coordinator will effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate driver and equipment demands that support personnel and customer requirements. This role will also ensure all drivers go on pre-employment road tests, are properly trained on electronic logbooks, load securement, and are fully knowledgeable with operating the equipment with care and attention prior to leaving the yard.Safety is number one priority at Chohan.The Yard Operations Coordinator will keep track and inventory count of all gear, dunnage.Yard Operations Coordinator will troubleshoot e-log issues inside the trucks, with the drivers to always ensure hours of service compliance. Operating forklifts, cross-docking, transloading, and tarping training/assistance will be essential tasks in this role. Recovery of abandoned equipment, delivering loads with drivers, or running emergency loads is also required.This role will report to the President/Director of Operations on issues regarding implementation of policies and procedures, safety of the workforce, recommending high-performing driver employees, and labor, compliance, and other yard operations matters.Effectiveness of the Yard Operations Coordinator role will be measured through compiling and analyzing performance data. This role will prepare and distribute various reports on safety initiatives and metrics to ensure needs are met.Occupational health and safety is an important aspect of operations at Chohan.Compliance with federal, provincial (WCB), state and local laws and industry regulations are also vital to the continued success and profitability of the organization.Other future positions: As required with Chohan growth, future positions within the Management team may be required.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per yearBenefits:

• Yard Operations: 1 year (required)
• Flatdeck Driving: 1 year (required)
