Job Description

Estate Grill (Poppy Estate Golf Course) is seeking head servers to support its vision of a restaurant experience that follows restaurant standards, mentors staff, and directs the sale and service of food and beverages. During the golf season, it is a head server that can lead a golf event of 20 to 120 people, and a wedding or corporate party of less than 90 people in the off-season.Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and proper organization
  • Provide a pleasant environment and experience for our guests (and your colleagues) while in the restaurant
  • Know the menu, answer questions, or make recommendations for complementary products
  • Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude and when necessary, consult with the Department Head
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Attention to cleanliness and Health & Safety standards
  • Patience and customer service skills
  • Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Able to adapt to any situation and keep and profession manner
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 25-35 per weekSalary: $17.00-$20.00 per hourAdditional pay:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Aldergrove, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • serving: 5 years (preferred)
  • Head Server: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • BC Drivers license (preferred)
  • Serve Right (preferred)
Shift availability:
  • Day Shift (preferred)
  • Night Shift (preferred)
