Position: Maintenance CoordinatorDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: Property ManagerPosition Requirements: The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the upkeep of the department’s maintenance records, validating the quality of recorded data, assisting with sourcing supplies, and purchasing transactions. The Maintenance Coordinator will support the Property Manager with respect to record keeping, policy and procedure, meeting deadlines and other administrative duties. The position requires proficiency in MS office, strong organizational and planning skills, familiarity with the construction/trade industry is considered an asset.The Maintenance Coordinator will adhere to all health and safety regulations, legislations, and policies.Qualifications: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in facility, property, construction, and project management.Key Responsibilities: 1) Prepare and coordinate maintenance project schedules, maintain project calendar.2) Ensure all service requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.3) Coordinate preventative maintenance program.4) Maintain equipment inventory.5) Proactively inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine if repairs or preventive maintenance is required.6) Source and coordinate work of contractors.7) Compile documents and complete applications for permits, licenses, and transactions.8) Maintain files of all documents related to transactions.9) Scheduling and payroll.10) Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to answering and directing phone calls and emails, assisting with organizing supplies/suppliers, developing, and maintaining a filing system, assist with report preparation.11) Ensures high quality and accuracy of written materials.12) Organize and schedule meetings.13) Deal in a courteous and professional manner with zoo contractors and fellow staff.14) Follow all GVZoo policy and procedures. Comply with all WCB safety regulations and work safe procedures. Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and guests.15) Project a professional image while in uniform and when using radio.16) Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.Start Date: To be determined.Starting Wage: To be determined.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $19.00-$23.00 per hourBenefits:
