Job Description

Are you getting tired of the maintenance and wish you could install new components Do you like working on vehicles Want a feeling of accomplishment rather than chasing the most recent breakdown Got skills in hydraulics, electrical, and fabrication We want to hear from you!At Work Truck West we need millwrights in our team to install industrial components correctly by understanding the systems that they are in. We are looking for hard-working, collaborative, and positive team players to join our team at our facility in Langley, BC. Your industrial training and knowledge will make you an integral part of our team of diverse technicians working together to build awesome work trucks.You would be responsible for installing, testing, and upfitting of industrial equipment such as:

  • Service Truck Crane Bodies / Dump Boxes with hydraulic hoist / Flat Decks.
  • Hydraulicamp; Electric, Stiff-Boomamp; Articulating Cranes.
  • Salter-Spreaders, Boost-Systems, Air Compressors, Welders, Inverters, and other truck-mounted components.
  • Relays, switches, and lighting products.
In addition to installing and testing industrial equipment, we would train you on the installation of automotive components and accessories such as:
  • Belt-driven underhood compressors.
  • PTOs with hydraulic pumps/clutch pumps.
  • Positive-air-shutoff systems.
  • Aftermarket bumpers.
  • Snowplows.
  • Vehicular Consoles.

  • Your own set of mechanics tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and hardworking attitude.
  • A valid BC driver #39;s license.
  • Experience in any of the fields of: welding, RV repair, heavy-duty repair, or automotive is an asset.
