Set-Up Technician - Jobs in Aldergrove

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

As directed by the Operations Manager, responsible for all aspects of setting up auxiliary equipment which includes conveyors, tables, decoration, and lidding equipment.
Will also be responsible for assisting the mold setup team and completing all preventative maintenance on the secondary equipment.

Responsibilities:

Follow, without exception, all work instructions and safety policies, including use of all PPE and safety equipment.
Responsible for all aspects of setting up auxiliary equipment which includes conveyors, tables, decoration, and lidding equipment.
Responsible for assisting the mold setup team and completing all preventative maintenance on the secondary equipment.
Follows all safety rules and procedures including Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and 5S standards and observes the operations to insure a safe work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be mechanically able and have experience in an industrial environment.
Be able to work in a team concept environment and have good communication skills.
Must have a background in trouble shooting industrial equipment problems.
Must be computer literate.
Must demonstrate ability to manage time, projects and problem-solving sessions.
Must be able to work flexible hours and be available on a 24-hour clock periodically.
Must have a safety attitude and mindset, and a thorough understanding of quality measurements.
Demonstrated problem solving skills â€“ Root Cause and Analysis.
Experience with stores management and computerized maintenance management systems.
