Job Description

The Vicinity Motor (Bus) Corporation (Previously Grande West Transportation Group) is a Canadian bus manufacturer which designs, engineers and manufactures mid-size buses for transit authorities and commercial enterprises. The Vicinity bus is available in a variety of models powered by clean diesel or CNG, designed with affordability, accessibility and environmental responsibility in mind. Further to this, as a part of the global transition to sustainable transportation, the Vicinity Motor Corporation will be introducing the Vicinity Lightning EV bus.We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Parts Department, that is a team player and will assist with the aftermarket support for our vehicles.Shift: Monday-FridayResponsibilities and Duties• Unloading and unpacking incoming shipments/containers, and organizing them in appropriate warehouse locations.• Inputting receipt data in computer system• Following safety procedures and adhering to them.• Prepare items for shipping including packaging, crating, palletizing.• Picking orders from throughout the warehouse.• Ensuring that quantities are accurate upon receiving and prior to shipping.• Able to work in a fast pace environment.• Have a sense of urgency.• Self-starter requiring limited supervision and a desire to work within a team environment.• Other inventory related duties as assigned.Employment Qualifications• Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.• Ability to prioritize tasks.• Multitasking skills.• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.• Forklift Certification is an asset, we can always pay for training the right person.• Capable of lifting 50 poundsPowered by JazzHR
