Highfield Stock Farm is a premier thoroughbred horse breeder located in the picturesque countryside near Okotoks, Alberta. We were named the Leading Breeder of Alberta-Bred Runners by Earnings in 2016, 2015, 2013 and 2010.We are currently looking for Maintenance Laborer’s to join our team! Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, and working closely with the Landscape Lead, the successful team players will be working on and around the farm to ensure we are maintaining and improving our world class operations.This is a full time permanent role, so we are looking for long term players. You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and although it is a set schedule, you are flexible when required.Along with your safety first attitude, you have a good working knowledge of all things landscaping and general maintenance and upkeep of facilities.The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:· Class 5 drivers license required· Prior experience with various farm and maintenance machinery, woodworking tools, chainsaws etc.· Be prepared to assist in farm landscape projects as well, i.e. repair and painting of fencing· Be a strong team player with high standards, excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach· Be diligent of safety policies and procedures, and adhere to all company policies set forth by HighfieldIf you feel you are the positive team player we are looking for, please forward your resume and cover letter for our review.
