Job Description

OVERVIEWVertex is currently accepting applications for one full-time, permanent Accounting Administrator in Alida, SK location. The successful candidate will support in day to day general operations of accounting in the branch.CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accounting experience and equivalent diploma or certificate in accounting is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter and a team player
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide support in day to day general operations of accounting
  • Accounts payable
  • Assisting with accounts receivable (payments, invoicing, etc.)
  • Data entry
  • Assist with payroll processing and administration (accurately entering hours and processing bi-weekly payroll)
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Assist with month end reporting
  • Other administrative duties as required
