This position will also be working closely with the other HD Planner, the HD Supervisor, and the Project Management team with regards to HD-related projects.What you will do:

  • Liaise with project management and maintenance to develop, advance and implement the 5-year mobile equipment strategies
  • Own, care for, and maintain asset data including the fleet plan, life cycles, preventative maintenance activities, scheduling, and parts and equipment plan
  • Cooridinate with Project Managers and vendors through all necessary procedures and specifications
  • Coordinate part staging and availability
  • Decommission and offload old assets as required
  • Be responsible for bills of materials, documentation, drawings, manuals etc.
  • Support the Mine Engineering Ventilation Specialist as required
What you will bring:
  • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience with heavy duty planning
  • Safety Commitment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience, with EAM software systems considered an asset
  • Ability to handle a large and varied workload
  • Self-guided worker with the ability to adapt to team requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning & problem-solving skills
  • Receptive to feedback for continuous improvement of processes and procedures
  • Electric vehicle experience/knowledge is considered an asset
