Body techs need to be proficient in doing filler work to a high level of quality. Moreover, having an experience in straightening and sharpening of panels along with accurately gaping body panels is crucial.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assembly and disassembly of vehicles
  • Body work prep
  • Masking, priming, sanding, buffing & paint
  • High quality filler work
  • Welding
  • Straightening & sharpening panels
  • Accurately gaping body panels
Requirements:
  • Licensed as an Autobody Technician or Apprentice
  • Previous experience within the industry or similar industry
  • Experience in straightening and sharpening of panels along with accurately gaping body panels
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent diagnostic skills, pride in workmanship, team player
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and be able to provide an acceptable driver abstract.
