Job Description

Operator needed for logging truck hauling a btrain with centre mount loader. Hauling from woods mostly in Cumberland county NS and Sackville NB area to mills in NS. Shift change typically done either at Aulac Biig Stop or in Amherst.Driver is required to load and sometimes unload logs. This means there may be times operator is outside in rain/snow. Off road driving required, use of wheelchains required from time to time. Operator should have some mechanical ability to make minor repairs. Example; changing hydraulic hose that ruptured, making small electrical repair for lights.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00-$22.00 per hourSchedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Amherst, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
