Job Description

Quality Assurance ClerkAn opening exists in the Quality Department for a Quality Assurance Clerk. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, with responsibilities as follows:JOB SUMMARY:

  • Collects stub rolls or sample bags from production departments
  • Cuts poly samples for filing as requested by the customer
  • Prepares, maintains, and distributes colour standards
Competencies
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel software programs
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Good time-management and organizational skills, able to multi-tasks effectively
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy; detail-oriented
  • Good colour perception ability
  • Good interpersonal skills (people skills)
Requirements
  • Secondary school (High School) diploma, or equivalent
  • Complete testing per WI 6.2.1.2 – General Hiring Practice Guidelines
Preferred
  • Experience working in the flexographic printing industry
