Job Description

Job Location: Gables Lodge. Amherst, NSDescription: Casual- dietary, housekeeping and laundry workersJob Responsibilities:

  • Serving meals to residents
  • cleaning dining room after meals
  • dish washing
  • handling special diets
  • preparing snacks
  • Working as a part of our team in order to maintain a clean, healthy environment for our clients
  • Providing individualized service to each client, ensuring they meet or exceed their expectations
  • Ensuring client confidentiality stays enforced
  • housekeeping duties, cleaning resident rooms, hallways etc.
  • laundry duties, collecting dirty laundry, washing, drying and folding clean laundry.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours/ shifts inclusive of days, weekends and holidays
  • High School/ GED completion
  • Previous experience working with seniors would be an asset
  • Criminal Record check required
  • Food Safety Certificate
Job Types: Part-time, CasualPart-time hours: 20-30 per weekSalary: $17.51-$17.81 per hourFlexible language requirement:
  • French not required
