Job Description

Goudreau Personnel by Switnon Ltd. is currntly recruiting for the following job opportunites: 3 Quality Inspector(s)Position Specifics: Full time opportunity for three (3) months, with the potential of being hired on directly by the hiring employer. One Quality Inspector for each shift (steady shifts) - Days (8:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m), Afternoons (4:00 p.m - 12:00 a.m) and Midnights (12:00 a.m - 8:00 a.m).Wage: $18.00/hourLocation: Amherstburg, ONJob DescriptionResponsibilities to include the following, but not limited to:

  • Inspect and approve “various plastic car parts” visually by confirming specifications, and rejecting and returning unacceptable material
  • Provide written documentation as to why parts are defective and rejected
  • Provide written documentation on parts that have been passed and approved
  • Sorting and re-packaging materials
  • Constructing boxes, packaging and repackaging car parts
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following company Health & Safety standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Quality department performing visual inspection a major asset
  • Must have two (2) years General Labourer exposure (or equivalent) in a manufacturing or plant setting
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Ability to read and write in English effectively is a must
  • Must have hand/eye coordination
  • Knowledge and adherence to safety measures (policies and procedures) in a plant
  • Ability to stand and sit in this role is essential.
  • Ability to lift 10-15 lbs. - moving boxes of parts to the table
