Department of Sociology – Tenure Track AppointmentThe Department of Sociology invites applications from sociologists for a probationary Tenure Track appointment at the level of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2023. Applicants must have a completedPhD by July 1, 2023 in Sociology or related field. Candidates’ research may be situated in any subfield of the discipline, and candidates must show that they can teach existing Sociology of Race courses as well as develop new courses that reflect their area/s of research specialization.To address historic institutional underrepresentation, the Academic Vice-President and Provost reserves this position for scholars who self-identify as Black, Indigenous and / or Persons of Colour.
