We offer a competitive compensation package, additional benefits include:Competitive compensation packageComprehensive health and dental benefits plan (eligible immediately) including an Employee and Family Assistance ProgramRRSP program (5% employer matching)Vacation accrual begins immediately and travel insuranceFree onsite parkingEmployee discounts on select apparel, fitness, and retail partners through our Perks ProgramAccess to continuing education and training through Shannex’s Centre of ExcellenceOpportunities to be part of sector innovation and continuous improvement initiativesRecognition and Rewards for service excellence and safetyAbout the OpportunityThe Client Services Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, delivery, management, and evaluation of care services to all residents living in our Licensed Assisted Living service line.Provides clinical oversight, leadership and expertise to the care/service team by fostering and promoting best practicesDirects the regular health assessments of prospective and current residents to maintain quality of life in the appropriate lifestyle option.Assists in the recruitment, orientation, training and professional development of team membersProvides leadership to and direct supervision of employees in the area of responsibilityEnsures compliance with organizations brand standards, policies, and regulatory requirementsResponds to government inspection/investigation reports and maintains licensing standardsPromotes and leads a safety cultureAbout YouIn addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:LPN diploma; or equivalentCurrent registration with provincial LPN regulatory bodyYou are passionate about working with seniors and have experience working with the elderly in a seniors’ living or long-term care environmentMinimum five (5) years nursing experienceExperience in a supervisory / leadership roleCurrent CPR & Emergency First Aid certificationPersonal computer skills in the use of related software applicationsSupplemental Qualifications considered an asset:Specialized courses such as: Foot Care, Palliative Care, VenipunctureAlzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia Care CourseBack in Form Lift & Transfer ProgramPrevious supervisory / leadership experience in a health service or seniors living environment;About UsIt all began in 1988 when our Founder, Joseph Shannon, purchased a single nursing home in his hometown of Sydney, Cape Breton.
