We are dedicated to promoting solar renewable energy in North America and reducing our carbon footprint.We are currently seeking Equipment Operator based in Antigonish, Nova ScotiaYou will use your expertise to:(You will be responsible for performing such duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time by your leader.)

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize construction equipment safely and effectively such as mini-excavator, telehandler forklift, and skid steer/loader.
  • Assist in site prep.
  • Assist in trenching.
  • Help pull conduit.
  • General cleanup of materials and debris.
  • Maintain tools used for installation in proper working condition.
  • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
  • Practice safety rules.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
  • Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted routinely.
  • Must be physically capable of working in various positions by bending, twisting, lifting, pushing and pulling.
  • Ability to perform duties outside in various weather conditions.
  • Must work well as part of a team.
We would like to review your application if you have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of experience in the Construction industry.
  • Operate Skid Steer in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance for the safe operation of the assigned equipment.
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (PPE including, a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Where you will be working, your work schedule, and other important information:The base hours of work are a regular 48-hour work week, Monday to Saturday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs.Job Site:
  • Uneven ground level
  • Obstructed pathways
Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site:
  • Predominately outdoor climate
  • May be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather
  • Various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.
