Shannex is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team based in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Reporting to the Manager , you will work to the Full Scope of Practice. As a member of the Clinical team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing client care. You will also be required to assist with orientation, training, and management of care staff. Registered and licensed clinical staff are responsible for recognizing and responding to the individual needs of clients and maintaining accurate and complete documentation. We are more than place to live or work - we are a community of people and friendships where the focus is on living well in the place residents call home.Who You Are…As the successful candidate, you have a current registration with the provincial LPN regulatory body, a valid CPR & First Aid Certification, the ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and have a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening and social development check. You will also have experience with physical assessment and palliative / hospice care.
