Tony’s Meats Ltd. is looking to hire Permanent Casual and Full Time Stuffer, Slicer and Injection Operators along with Production Line employees.Established in 1963, Tony’s Meats Ltd. is a privately owned federally registered, SQF and Halal certified company located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. Tony’s Meats produces and distributes an extensive selection of quality raw and fully cooked further processed meat products under the Tony’s Meats TM and Mr. Donair TM brands as well as many private label brands at both food service and retail establishments across Canada.Successful applicants will need to have the following qualifications:· Highly motivated· Good dexterity· Attention to detail· Mechanical inclined· Physically fit and able to lift at least 50 lbs.· Comfortable to work with changing work activities and schedules· Be able to work in a refrigerated and fast pace environment.· Previous food handling or food processing experience is an asset.Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:· Learn to operate multiple types of machines depending on the production area you are working in.· Package prepared products onto trays/boxes/bags.· Follow all Health and Safety requirements and rules· Learn and follow all GMP and food handling procedures (eg. hand washing, glove changes, product storage)· Help disassemble equipment and production lines for sanitation· Learn all the required sanitation activities for the areaTony’s Meats Ltd. respects and welcomes diversity.
