Under the supervision of the Director of Programs at Coady Institute, the Program Teaching Staff member (ABCD) will help expand our ground breaking global engagement on citizen-led, asset-based community development (ABCD). Key areas of work include education programming, knowledge building and research, and partnership and capacity building for community led development. The incumbent will demonstrate a commitment to building partnerships and supporting leaders and development practitioners who are focused on helping their communities advance social change.The role requires a strong understanding of ABCD (both conceptually and in implementation), a mix of demonstrated community development experience as well as strong teaching or facilitation skills rooted in adult education principles. The Program Teaching Staff (ABCD) will bring their leadership in this field to several project partnerships alongwith analytical capacity, research and writing skills to the design and delivery of our curriculum, education programs, and research initiatives. The role also requires strong capacities in applying gender and intersectional lenses to the work.Key Responsibilities
