Job Description

To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at www.prairienorthcoop.crsWhat you #39;ll do:Reporting to the Archerwill Agro Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting and adding strategic value to the operations of an agro site offering services of crop inputs, fertilizer, custom agronomy, farm equipment and hardware. The Assistant Manager will provide leadership and operational support to a team of strong professionals to grow our business and provide quality service to our customers. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and support fertilizer, seed, chemical sales, and equipment sales
  • Ensure the achievement of operational goals and sale targets
  • Manage and grow customer relations
  • Seek growth and expansion opportunities
  • Lead farm marketing promotions and customer events
Who you are:The successful candidate must have a strong agricultural background with 5+ years of proven industry sales experience. The candidate must also have 3+ years of experience leading a team of professional/technical staff. A post-secondary diploma or degree in Ag specializing in Agronomy or Plant Sciences along with SIA membership is considered an asset.
