Job Description

Job DescriptionCEDA is currently seeking Labourers for our Arcola, SK location! What We Offer:

Key Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
  • Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 5 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
  • Experience in an industrial environment is an asset
  • Willingness to get your SCOT (Safety Construction Orientation Training) certification
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications are an asset but not required, we will train you!
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Skills:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
  • Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
