Job Description

What are we looking forWe are looking for a Machine Operator that is responsible for all corrugated pipe/culvert operations. Duties will be fulfilled as assigned by the Plant Manager in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.Responsibilities:

  • Set up the machine to run various corrugation profiles and diameters.
  • Track and record all productions and consumables.
  • Assisting operators in material handling.
  • Complete routine maintenance on the machine.
  • Keep the workstations tidy and clean.
  • Trouble shooting and problem-solving problems on the equipment.
  • Follow AILs Quality Management System.
Qualifications:
  • Safety conscious
  • Forklift experience would be considered an asset
  • Must possess a certain degree of mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to work accurately with figures
  • Must be organized and self-motivated
  • Must be able to communicate with others
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Experience with heavy machinery would be considered an asset.
