We produce trees for customers from British Columbia to Ontario and Michigan to Alabama to Oregon.Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Under the direction of the Operations Manager and the Seed Orchard Technician, this position is responsible for carrying out day to day activities in the orchards in order to maximize the production of high-quality seed from the orchard trees. The position is non-continuous (seasonal). During the off season, the SOT Assistant is expected to assist and take part in other nursery work which may include supervisor, quality assurance or machine operator duties. No shift work required. Candidates should have a keenness to learn about the seed orchard activities, keep accurate records, work independently and efficiently.
