Noted for being a progressive and innovative organization, our organization has been awarded and recognized for our efforts to improve our workplace in ways that contribute to quality of work-life and the quality of the care and services we deliver to our patients, residents, and clients.Arnprior Regional Health is currently seeking an Associate Director of Care at the Grove LTC Home. Reporting to the Vice President, Seniors Care, LTC and Community Programs, the Associate Director of Care is responsible for providing managerial and clinical leadership of resident care programs including the Nursing Unit and infection Control.The Associate Director of Care provides leadership in the nursing department to support the delivery of resident care and services in accordance with the organization #39;s vision, mission and values. Working in a team environment, the Associate Director of Care engages all team members to build rapport with residents, families, and team members to deliver care and services that support optimal resident quality outcomes.Qualifications for this position include:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the provincial College of Nurses.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent post diploma education Consideration will be given to a Registered Practical Nurse.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical nursing in seniors’ care that may include geriatric, long term care, rehabilitation, or chronic care setting.
  • Knowledge of provincial Long Term Care Actamp; Regulations.
  • Excellent proficiency with WORD, email, internet use, and computerized documentation.
  • Experienced leader with ability to coach and mentor team.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Willingness to upgrade and maintain personal and educational qualifications as required by the changing demands of the job.
