SEOL Energy is a junior oil and gas company focus primarily on the production of natural gas (sweet/dry). The company is seeking to add a Contract Production/Field Operator to its team to work in the Herronton (Arrowwood) area of Southern Alberta.Job descriptionReporting to the Head of Operations, the Contract Production/ Field Operator will complete daily operations of Natural gas wells and associated Facilities.Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of production wells and facilities.
• Complete daily rounds of associated facility equipment in all areas to ensure operating parameters and safety regulations are being observed
• Manage gas samples periodically as required
• Contribute to a successful daily execution of the business plan by identifying opportunities to maximize production, reduce operating costs and minimize downtime.
• Ensures all maintenance within their area of control is being carried out in a safe manner and work procedures are being followed
• All tasks are executed in a knowledgeable and safe manner
• Provide and perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and good housekeeping practices.
• Promote HS&E program(s) and provides input to policies & procedures.
• Maintain positive company image.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of oil and gas operating experience
• Possess excellent communication skills, positive attitude and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong ability to evaluate and troubleshoot operational problems and make recommendations for improvements.
• A strong team player, capable of working closely with a variety of groups but also a self-starter who is capable of working independently with minimal or no supervision
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from site.
• Applicants must possess: a valid drivers license and provide a drivers abstract upon request
• Valid safety training certification
• Candidate must reside within Vulcan County, Herronton or Okotoks

Compensation: $30.00 per hourSchedule:

• Day shift
• Holidays
• On call
• Weekends
