PRIMARY FOCUSKeep administration office organized and running. Provide administrative support to care units.TASKS· Explain and sign admission agreements with new clients.· Control of accounts receivables.· Control of accounts payables.· Supervise Inventory control and replenishment of toiletries and incontinence supplies for the residents.· Calculate billing for clients and set up withdrawals for resident’s monthly supplies.· Income reconciliation with the Ministry of Finance (Public Trustees Residents)· Prepare schedule for staff (excluding Nurses) and assist with shift changes.· Place orders for:1. Weekly kitchen supplies with Sysco.2. Office supplies.3. Incontinence supplies with Cardinal Health.4. Cleaning supplies.5. Medical supplies· Elaboration of manuals for new administrative processes.· Responsible for implementation of infection control procedures and manuals.· Perform infection control audits.· Implementation of the OHS committee, manuals, and procedures.· Submit staff immigration applications for the SINP program.· Keep control, records, and reconciliations of resident’s comfort funds.· Supervise kitchen activities and supplies.· Coordinate housekeeper’s duties and perform audits on their performance.· Coordinate maintenance activities in the facility.· Provide assistance with resident’s TVs, administration computers, printers and networks.· Post advertisements for job openings.· Prepare letter of references and contracts for employees.· Provide assistance with any Director of Care requirement.· Answer family members inquiries.· Coordinate certain staff training and N95 respirators tests.· Answer staff inquiries regarding payroll.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree in Administration or related field. 2 years experience.TECHNICAL SKILLSComputer and IT skills (Email, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)TypingPhone systemsCopiersPrintersFaxingERP: QuickbooksCOMPETENCIESPunctualWell organizedGood communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsProblem solvingAdaptabilityInitiativeLeadershipJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $17.00 per hourSchedule:
