The Instrumentation Summer Student will support the north (Conklin area, camp based) and south (Sturgeon Terminal) E/I technicians as well as the Automation team. The individual in this role must live within reasonable driving distance from the Edmonton/Fort Saskatchewan area for the duration of the role. Please note that no relocation assistance is provided for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position will support north and south E/I technicians as well as the Automation team:

• Shadow and support E/I technicians to gain work experience
• Shadow & support Measurement Technicians to gain work experience
• Shadow & support Automation Technicians to gain work experience
• Perform basic transmitter calibrations
• Support E/I technicians with Avantis PM program work orders

Qualifications and ExperienceSkills:

• Full class 5 driver’s licence

Experience:

• Successfully completed first year Instrumentation Engineering Technology

Education:

• This position is open to post-secondary students enrolled in an Instrumentation Engineering Technology Program
• Recent graduates are not eligible for this opportunity. You must be returning to school after finishing Summer Student placement.
