Job Description

The OrganizationWolf Midstream is a Calgary-based private midstream company backed by CPP Investments and was established in 2016. Wolf offers students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in support of their long-term goals, while making meaningful contributions to the Wolf Platform and the communities we serve.This role will be based at Sturgeon Terminal (near Redwater). The Instrumentation Summer Student will support the north (Conklin area, camp based) and south (Sturgeon Terminal) E/I technicians as well as the Automation team. The individual in this role must live within reasonable driving distance from the Edmonton/Fort Saskatchewan area for the duration of the role. Please note that no relocation assistance is provided for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position will support north and south E/I technicians as well as the Automation team:

  • Shadow and support E/I technicians to gain work experience
  • Shadow & support Measurement Technicians to gain work experience
  • Shadow & support Automation Technicians to gain work experience
  • Perform basic transmitter calibrations
  • Support E/I technicians with Avantis PM program work orders
Qualifications and ExperienceSkills:
  • Full class 5 driver’s licence
Experience:
  • Successfully completed first year Instrumentation Engineering Technology
Education:
  • This position is open to post-secondary students enrolled in an Instrumentation Engineering Technology Program
  • Recent graduates are not eligible for this opportunity. You must be returning to school after finishing Summer Student placement.
