Barback/Aide-Barman/BarmaidAbout us:Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.Position Overview:Elevate the bar experience at Playground as a Barback, where your role will ensure seamless bar operations. Your dedication to maintaining a clean and organized bar area and supporting bartenders in serving drinks efficiently will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service.What we have to offer:

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the bar area stocked, clean and organized.
  • Wash and shine glassware.
  • Keep the wine cellars, the fridges and the backbar as full as possible.
  • Assist the bartender(s) by cleaning up and resetting tables.
  • Start to learn both food and beverage menus to be able to help the bartender(s) in case of very busy moments.
  • Allow the bartender(s) to focus on service by providing them help by any means possible.
Requirements:
  • Must be bilingual (English and French) and 18 years or older.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident

Responsabilités:
  • Maintenez la zone du bar bien approvisionnée, propre et organisée.
  • Lavez et faites briller la verrerie.
  • Réapprovisionner et réapprovisionner l #39;inventaire et les fournitures du bar.
  • Assistez le barman à nettoyer et refaire les tables.
  • Apprendre les recettes de breuvages et les menus pour pouvoir aider les barmans dans les rushs.
  • Supporter le barman pour qu’ils puissent offrir une expérience optimale aux clients.
Exigences:
  • Doit être bilingue (français et anglais) et âgé de 18 ans ou plus.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.
  • Doit être capable de travailler debout pendant la durée du quart de travail.
  • Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches et à rester calme et professionnel dans un environnement au rythme rapide.
  • Flexibilité pour travailler divers quarts de travail, y compris les week-ends, les soirs et les jours fériés.
  • Doit avoir un permis de travail ou être un citoyen Canadien.
