Job Description

At ITR Laboratories Canada Inc. our mission is to help bring new medicines to the world which relieve patients suffering from serious diseases. We have been servicing the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over 30 years and have established ourselves as a trusted partner worldwide in Drug Safety Testing. We are actively seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our team as we continue to expand our reach and services.Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator contributes in several services offering by the Human Resources Department and supports members of the HR team.Main responsibilities

  • Support the recruiter in the complete cycle of recruitment and staff selection (posting, pre-selection, interview, pre-employment checks).
  • Facilitate the welcome sessions for new employees and get involved in the onboarding process.
  • Contribute to the development of HR tools including processes in the ADP Workforce system and contribute to special HR projects.
  • Ensure the administrative management of various HR processes including forms related to work permits, letters, etc.
  • Complete reports on an ad hoc basis (i.e., Statistics Canada).
  • Provide general information related to HR programs and policies to employees;
  • Perform exit interviews when required.
  • Follow up for various type of leaves ex. Maternity, short durations absences.
Other related tasks, in support of the HR team, including payroll and benefits.Requirements and skills
  • Certificate or university degree in human resources or industrial relations or administration;
  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience in an HR function.
  • Ease of adaptation, collaboration and team spirit.
  • Good sense of initiative and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Member of the Order of CRHA (an asset).
