We are the premier mineral sod supplier for Winnipeg & area, serving both the commercial & residential customers.We are currently accepting applications for the following position: Sod Harvest OperatorJOB PROFILE: Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Sod Harvest Operator is responsible for carrying out day to day tasks in the fields.The job includes but shall not be restricted to:* Operating & servicing automated sod harvester (Trebro Harvestack & TSR)* Recording daily sod production* Diagnosing & repairing harvester issuesSkills & Qualifications:* Strong Communication Skills,* Time Management Skills,* Organizational Skills,* Problem Solving,* Attention To Detail,* Technical & Mechanical ProficiencyMUST be able to lift weight of 50+ pounds. All work is outdoors, so candidates must be able to work with outdoor elements such as heat and dust.Candidates must be ready to start right away.On-job training will be provided - this is a unique piece of equipment that requires extensive training.Candidates must have their own transportation.
